Toddler Activity – Day 5

‘Day 5’  also excited for sh2. Here are the things used for his play.

Things used for play:

  • Play dough with molds
  • Shapes puzzle board
  • Different types of cars
  • Board Books

Playdough & Puzzle boards:

Different types of cars & Board Books:

He picked the playdough and molds and played with them nicely. Tried to make things out of a mold.

But he couldn’t press hard enough to make it. And so I helped him to press it hard. Finally, when he made things out of molds, he was so happy to see them.

Then started to play with the shapes puzzle board.

Played with his all-time favorite cars for some time. As usual didn’t want to read the book. Just turned the pages and closed it.

Overall had a great fun.

The Benefits:

  • Playdough: Helps to improve the Fine Motor Skill: great for strengthening muscle tone in little hands – squishing, squashing, rolling, flattening play dough all develop children’s muscles and encourage prewriting and other skills such as cutting with scissors, using tweezers, holding a pencil etc.
  • Shapes Puzzle: Helps to improve the  Hand-Eye Coordination, Fine Motor Skills, Cognitive skills, Shape recognition, Problem-solving skills
